Experience Nature & Forest Therapy
Nature & Forest Therapy can be experienced in a park, a forest, at the beach, in an Arboretum or Botanical Garden. The experience can even take place indoors in a building atrium or green space! This practice is for everyone!
Virtual Nature & Forest Therapy
In the day of COVID-19 and Social Distancing, we were forced to do things differently. So even now as the pandemic winds down, if you can't make a session in person, why give up your Nature & Forest Therapy practice? If fact, even if you've never done a session before, there is no time like the present to start. COVID-19 had a significant impact on the increase of stress and anxiety some experience. So whether your stress, anxiety or depression stems from social pressure, work, home life, relationships or a combination of triggers, Nature & Forest Therapy has been scientifically proven to help reduce stress, anxiety and depression. It's also been proven to help boost your immune system.
This is a virtual forest therapy session designed to help reduce stress and anxiety. The session will guide you through a process to activate your senses and bring you into the present moment. It is designed to help improve your health. Body, mind and soul.
Mini Virtual Sessions are offered monthly for only $10 per session. Full Private Virtual Sessions can be scheduled for individuals and groups.
Bringing Nature In
Scheduled Public Sessions in Long Island, the Catskill Mountains and the Pocono Mountains. A percentage of profits are donated to a land preservation organization where each walk is held. Participants must pre-register.
Due to COVID-19 we adhere to the guidelines set forth by the Association of Nature & Forest Therapy Guides & Programs. Social distancing and group numbers allowed at each location are strictly adhered to and there is no sharing of supplies. All participants must bring their own snacks, water, insect/tick repellent, sunscreen, sitting pad or stool and any other supplies outlined in the registration.
All sessions are conducted in an outdoor environment to allow us to breathe fresh air. The trees are our friends. They emit phytoncides. When we breathe in the phytoncides, our NK (Natural Killer) white blood cell count can increase. This increase in our NK white Blood Cells is a boost to our immune system and can help us fight off illnesses.
Large Group Sessions
In cases where individuals cannot get outside for any reason, we bring nature indoors so that no one is left out. The smells, textures and essence of the outside are brought in so that clients can experience the healing benefits of nature while confined to an indoor space. Whether it's a full Nature & Forest Therapy Session (indoors) or just designing a green space to help ease Stress, Anxiety and Depression, we've got you covered.
